About Polgooth Inn
The Polgooth Inn is a classic 16th Century Cornish village pub set in a beautiful rural valley just three miles from St Austell. Polgooth (meaning Goose Pond in Cornish) had the richest tin mine in the country by the 18th Century and the inn became the pay house. The Count House is our meeting space which has full AV facilities, disabled access and can cater for up to 36 delegates.
